Welcome to our New Starters page for the children due to join us at St. Michael's in September 2020. As well as saying hello, I also want to start by saying how sorry I am that we are having to welcome you and introduce you to our school through our website rather than face to face.

We will be adding to this page over the next few weeks. We plan to have a selection of videos to help your children get to know the staff and some of the areas around the school. (Please note, these have been removed, March 2021).

Next week I will be posting a 'Parent Introduction Session' to give you some practical information about your child starting at St. Michael's.

Over the next week or so your child should receive a special delivery from school to help them start to feel part of St. Michael's We have also posted a link here with some practical advice from Cumbria County Council about getting your child ready for primary school.

I also wondered if you could help me out with a small task as well. Normally, when the children come to visit us in July, we take photos of them to help us label coat pegs. Obviously, this is not going to be possible this year, so I would like to ask you to send a snap of your child via email that we could use. Please send this to jpaisley@st-michaels.cumbria.sch.uk

In the meantime, if you have any queries at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us and we will be only too happy to help.
