Our Year 6 children have been focusing on World War II during their History topic. In order to gain a better understanding of what life was like for children during this period, especially those who were evacuated, the children went on a trip to Tullie House in Carlisle. They also dressed up as evacuees and packed their lunches based on the foods that were available at the time.

The children in Year 2 have been learning about Explorers and have completed research to find out about Neil Armstrong. We took part in a 'hot seating' activity to share our findings where the children confidently asked and questions.

Super Skills: I can develop empathy and understanding. I can find out about people and events in other times.
