As St. Michael's uniform does not include a stitched logo, items can be purchased from high street stores.

Labelling Clothes

PLEASE can we ask that you label all items of clothes clearly. Stitched in labels are the most effective as these do not fade or peel off. Shoes and gym shoes should also be named. If items do go missing, the Lost Property box is situated in the medical room next to the office.

Ties, Book Bags and Water Bottles

Children should also use a book bag (infants) for transporting books, reading records, newsletters and so on between school and home.

Most juniors like to use a rucksack or similar type of bag of their own choice.

School ties can also be purchased from the school office.

PE Kit

Our P.E. kit consists of a pale blue PE t-shirt with logo (available to buy from school), navy blue shirts, a school hoodie with logo (also available from school) and suitable trainers.

Please note, hoodies are NOT replacements for the jumpers or cardigans that are worn in class. They are to be worn for PE or when representing the school at various sporting events and can also be worn on visits and trips with the school. They can also be worn as additional clothing on cold days.

Summer Uniform

After the Easter holidays, ties can be removed and white polo shirts worn instead of the more formal shirt.

Girls may wear blue and white gingham dresses and boys (and girls) may wear grey shorts.

Footwear should remain 'sensible' - some sandals can be difficult to run in for instance.
